Biowax Ghana Ltd, and the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) on February 24, 2025, successfully trained Okyeso Nyame Multipurpose Farmers Association at Antado in the KEEA District on innovative post-harvest management techniques. The training focused on BIOWAX’s edible coating technology, which extends the shelf life of fresh produce, reduces post-harvest losses, and increases profitability
Following the training, Biowax Ghana Ltd formalized a long-term partnership with the Okyeso Nyame Multipurpose Farmers Association to ensure sustained collaboration. Under this agreement, Biowax Ghana will provide ongoing training, technical support, and market linkages to help farmers maximize their yields and profits while reducing spoilage.
This initiative strengthens food security, enhances farmer income, and promotes sustainable agricultural practices, marking a significant step in empowering Ghanaian farmers with modern post-harvest solutions.
